Getting Started | CEQA 101
Enacted in 1970, CEQA requires state and local agencies to disclose and help mitigate for the environmental effects of projects — both public and private — before they approve them. But CEQA is a self-executing statute, meaning that it’s up to the public to use and enforce it. Start your CEQA journey here.
